Victoria Derbyshire biased reporting on PIP benefit changes

On the 16th of March 2017, the very day that the Electoral Commission levied the highest possible fine on the Conservative Party for breaking rules on electoral expenditure during the 2015 General Election, we were treated to this piece on the Victoria Derbyshire programme. br br The story being covered was that the Government have changed the way in which Personal Independence Payments are awarded. br br The Government had originally agreed to send a Minister to defend the actions of the Government, but at the last minute, it seems they changed their mind. br br It didn't matter though, because it seems that the BBC, who are supposed to be impartial, provided a presenter who was going to defend the Government position at all costs. br br For absolute clarity, KOSHH is not a part of any political party, and we do not seek to defend any party over another. When a political party does something which is good or bad for healthcare, we will report it. br br Similarly, when a news outlet which is supposed to be impartial, is acting in a way which is not balanced or impartial, we will report this too.
