2018 Nissan X-Trail- Design

There aren’t going to be too many changes to the exterior of the vehicle. Aside from the increase in size that the third generation of this vehicle has brought us, expect few other differences. The 2018 model is still going to use the CMF platform that it shares with Nissan Rogue. This modular, lightweight architecture consists of materials such as aluminum, steel and maybe even carbon fiber. Aluminum is very good for maintaining the rigidity of the car, while cutting down on the weight. This will result in a more fuel efficient vehicle. Expect to see the old, but just slightly bigger V-shaped grille. The headlights and the taillights might also get an update. It is going to ride on 18-inch alloy wheels, while some of the better trims might actually have 19-inch wheels. br br The interior is going to be more spacious than ever thanks to this increase in size. It is going to be able to seat seven passengers properly. This is more than enough for a 4-door mid-size crossover. The cabin is going to have much better sound insulation than before, resulting in a less noisy ride. There are also going to be new gadgets and safety features. These include a new 7-inch touchscreen display, dual-zone climate control, heated front seats, Bluetooth and USB connectivity, satellite radio etc. As for the safety features, expect Adaptive Cruise Control for semi-autonomous driving experience, Lane Departure Warning, Lane Keeping Assist and plenty of others.
