Ingredients for Chicken Haleem Recipe br br Boneless Chicken 12 inch cubes 4 br Broken Wheat 3 tablespoons br Green cardamoms 2-3 br Cloves 5-6 br Cinnamon 1 inch stick br Bay leaves 2 br Cumin seeds 1 teaspoon br Onions sliced 3 medium br Ginger paste 1 tablespoon br Garlic paste 1 tablespoon br Split green gram with skin (chilkewali moong dal),soaked 2 tablespoons br Split Bengal gram (chana dal) soaked 2 tablespoons br Broken wheat (dalialapsi) soaked 3 tablespoons br Turmeric powder 12 teaspoon br Red chilli powder 1 teaspoon br Salt to taste br Garam masala powder 12 teaspoon br Fresh coriander leaves chopped 2-3 tablespoons br Fresh mint leaves hand torn 10-12 br Prep Time : 1.30-2 hour br br Cook time : 41-50 minutes br br Serve : 4 br br Level Of Cooking : Moderate br br Taste : Spicy br Method br br Step 1 br br Heat ghee in a deep pan. Add green cardamoms, cloves, cinnamon, bay leaves, cumin seeds and onions and sauté till light brown. br br Step 2 br br Add ginger paste, garlic paste and continue to sauté. Add chana dal, moong dal and dalia and stir. br br Step 3 br br Add turmeric powder and red chilli powder and mix. br br Step 4 br br Add half a cup of water and sauté for two to three minutes. br br Step 5 br br Add chicken cubes and salt and mix. Add four cups water and let it come to a boil. br br Step 6 br br Add garam masala powder, coriander leaves and mint leaves. br br Step 7 br br Stir and cover. Cook on medium heat till done.
