Saturday night gave us classic in the #Hoopstate as Millbrook hosted Apex High School in the quarter finals of the NCHSAA playoffs. With both teams being lead by a core of seniors, this game was a back and forth affair until the end. It was junior, Eric Fox who was hot from downtown all game that hit the game-leading three pointer before Millbrook senior Trejon Jacob was fouled with 1.7 seconds left. Jacob knocked down both free throws to lead 75-74 and ultimately won the game after an unsuccessful shot at the buzzer by Apex. Millbrook will move on to play Garner in the next round of the NCHSAA playoffs.
