The Tamil Nadu government on Tuesday night issued a warning to fishermen not to venture into the sea. It has warned people of heavy rains saying parts of Tamil Nadu are likely to receive heavy rainfall in the next 24 hours. Rain, which began on Monday due to a low pressure over the Bay of Bengal, continued throughout the day on Tuesday.
