Several schools in Melbourne have been evacuated after receiving threatening "automated" phone calls which appeared to be hoax calls. British media reported bomb threats led to 18 schools being evacuated across the UK. Police there are investigating if they were part of a co-ordinated, "false and malicious" hoax.
