Marian Catholic hosts public school neighbors and rivals Homewood-Flossmoor each November during the first week of the season at the Chicago Heights Classic. br For Chicago-area hoops fans, it's a must-see game, and this meeting was no exception. br Lasting for a sweltering 6 overtimes, H-F prevailed 74-73 before a soldout, standing room only crowd. br br Led by senior Jarrett Tribble (22 points), H-F outlasted each charge by the Spartans who were led by senior Warren Allen (16 points, 8 rebounds) and sharp-shooting Sam Taylor (22 points). br Marian Catholic point guard Chase Adams scored 17 for the Spartans, including 12 in the overtime. H-F's Jeffrey Boyd (17 points, 9 rebounds) and Cortez King Parks (10 points, 6 rebounds) also contributed.br br H-F's Jarrett Tribble, Cortez King-Parks and Jeffrey Boyd went on to be named to the Chicago Heights Classic All-Tournament Team (won by H-F).
