A woman who was held hostage at knifepoint after a failed break-in attempt in Kota Kinabalu has been rescued by police. br br In the incident yesterday night the victim was taken hostage after a burglar escaped from a failed break-in attempt at a house in the area. br br The police who had been called following the break-in attempt arrived to find the woman being held hostage by the burglar. br br The hostage situation ended after 2 hours.
