MotoGP world champion Nicky Hayden The 35-year-old was racing for Red Bull Honda’s World Superbike team in Italy when he collided with a car. According to a statement released by the hospital on Friday, Hayden had “serious cerebral damage.” Hayden was from Owensboro, Kentucky and won the MotoGP World Champion with Honda in 2006.
