Following a Cobra meeting, UK Prime Minister Theresa May announced the UK security level will be lowered from 'Critical' to 'Severe'. This means an attack is still considered highly likely. Soldiers currently assisting police in securing potential targets across the UK will be withdrawn at the end of 29 May because of this decision.
