pTwo Expedition 51 crew members departeda the International Space Station and landed safely in Kazakhstan on Friday, June 2.ppExpedition 51 Flight Engineers Oleg Novitskiy of the Russian Federal Space Agency and Thomas Pesquet of the European Space Agency (ESA) departed on the Soyuz spacecraft at 6:50 am EDT. Novitskiy and Pesquet spent a total of 196 days in space during which they conducted research in biology, biotechnology and Earth Science, aboard the ISS, according to NASAa.ppIn this video, Novitskiy and Pesquet say goodbye to the crew remaining onboard the station before boarding the Soyuz spacecraft and undocking.
