Thousands attending the #OneLoveManchester benefit concert at Emirates Old Trafford on June 4 erupted into cheers after a long moment of silence to honor those who were injured and lost their lives in the May 22 Manchester Arena attack.
Ariana Grande, along with Justin Bieber, Katy Perry, Miley Cyrus, Pharrell Williams, Niall Horan and others, announced that proceeds from the concert would go the “victims and families affected by the Manchester attack.”
Uber UK announced that they would match the sum of all fares to and from the benefit concert and donate that money to the British Red Cross’ “We Love Manchester” fund.
