The BET Awards were handed out Sunday night. Beyoncé was the big winner of the night, taking a total of five trophies. Rapper Remy Ma beat rival Nicki Minaj for best female hip hop artist, ending Minaj's 7-year reign in that category. Kendrick Lamar was another big winner. He won for best male hip-hop artist Chance The Rapper took home Best New Artist, and was also honored with a BET humanitarian award for his work to improve Chicago public schools.
