pTyphoon Nanmadol slammed parts of Japana on Tuesday, July 4, bringing high winds, causing some damage, and forcing the grounding of some flights. The typhoon brought heavy rain and wind speeds of up to 89 mph.ppRain and wind caused branches to break off trees in the Kumamoto Prefecture, as this footage shows. The area reportedly receiveda over 80 mm of rain.
