Blind WWII veteran receives new medals after heartbreaking plea for lost ones

A 96-year-old veteran of the D-Day landings lost his war medals at a motorway service station back in May after a pilgrimage to Normandy. After a tearful appeal broadcast by ITN, Alfred Barlow has been presented with a replica set of medals.
