VILE ASSEMBLY - SUICIDE FEAST

VILE ASSEMBLY - SUICIDE FEAST

Debut British punk-rock band, Vile Assembly, were created solely to be the whistle-blowers on unjust society; their purpose to say what needs to be said through the universally understood medium of music. The band was created following a fortuitous meeting between three lifelong friends in a New York café, who decided that enough was enough and the troubles of the world needed to be voiced. Their debut single, ‘Suicide Feast’, released on 28 July, delivers the fruits of their musical toil and carefully considered lyrical craftsmanship and comes from their debut EP, ‘Elephant In The Room’ released on the same day. Vile Assembly have something to say and with their bold, beat-driven, brazen melodic style, they defy you not to take notice! br br The debut single, ‘Suicide Feast’, attaches desperate lyrics to a catchy punchy poppy song, allowing audiences to glean from it as much as they can personally digest; it can be a simple catchy song to some, whilst others will instantly recognise the strong delivery of a compelling message. ‘Suicide Feast’ depicts society’s desensitisation to the mammoth homeless problem on our streets. The stark, cutting lyrics throw a blinding spotlight onto the evil corporations who amount wealth through our ignorance and play on our assumption and fear that the rich are the mighty and the powerful. ‘Suicide Feast’ instantly took on a power and life of its own. Without any radio promo help, the track worked its was across radio stations globally and has already garnered play across France, Italy, Belgium, Germany, Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York, Canada and all over the U.K.  BBC Radio 6’s Tom Robinson championed the song saying, "The instant I heard Suicide Feast I absolutely had to play it, its musical intent you just can't fake".
