pA provincial state of emergency was declared on July 8 due to an out-of-control wildfire that has consumed huge swathes of dry grassland in British Columbia, Canada.ppCBC reporteda 138 fires were started, many ignited by lightning, according to the British Columbia Wildfire Servicea, on Friday.
