Occurred on July 12, 2017 Georgina Island, Lake Simcoe, Ontario, Canadabr br Info from Licensor: "There was an severe storm watch in my area, and I was at the cottage looking at the lake around 4:24 pm. I noticed a disturbance on the water, a rough patch which then turned into a water funnel. It had a strange bend at the top where it met the clouds. It was moving slightly toward land, lasted about 2-3 minutes and then disappeared. My cottage is located on Georgina Island on the south east side across from Beaverton, Ontario.
