Car Crashes Into Crowd of Protesters After Rallies Turned Violent in Charlottesville

pA car was seen driving directly into a group of protesters in Charlottesville, Virginia, on August 12, shortly after a neo-Nazi protest and counter-protest were dispersed as unlawful assembly by police.ppAt about 2:30 into the video, the car can be seen driving through a crowd on the street. The crowd was made up of counter-protesters against the neo-Nazis. The car rear-ended another; one person could be seen between the two bumpers and another person can be seen on the roof.ppA state of emergency was earlier declareda by Governor Terry McAuliffe. Charlotte Mayor Mike Signer reported one person was killed in the crash.
