Tomato paste br 2 tsp. Garlic and ginger br 1 medium carrot grated br ½ lemon br 2 cinnamon sticks br 1 tsp. Coriander powder br 1 tsp. Cumin powder br ½ tsp. Garam masala br ½ tsp. Chilli powder (optional) br ¼ tsp. Black pepper br 5 cloves br 5 green cardamoms br 5 peppercorns br Handful of raisins or sultanas br Handful of almond slivers br Ghee or oil br Salt to taste br br br Method:- br - Heat butter in a pan and add cinnamon, green cardamom, cloves, peppercorns and stir. br - Add onions and fry until brown, then add ginger-garlic paste. br - Now add tinned tomatoes and cook on high flame. br - Add cumin, coriander, black pepper, cayenne, salt, Garam Masala and cook for 5-7 minutes. br - Add the chicken, chicken stock, cover with a lid and cook for 20-25 minutes. br - Transfer the chicken to baking tray skin side up. Grill in the oven for 20 minutes. br - In the gravy add carrot, lemon slices, rice and boil on a high flame until boiling. br - Cover with a lid and cook on a low flame for 20 minutes and keep aside. br - In another pan, heat butter and fry almonds and raisins in it.
