Learn how to sculpt the head and the hands of this polymer clay mermaid art doll in Part 1, & then learn everything else in Part 2. Perfect for anyone looking for a polymer clay & resin tutorial, for mermaid wanna-bes, or for anyone interested in doll making. \r

This mermaid is a bit larger than I am used to (I usually work in 1:12 scale). The smaller the doll, the harder to sculpt, so perhaps this size will feel more comfortable to the beginner. \r
\r
The little story at the beginning of this tutorial was inspired by Hans Christian Andersens fairy tale, The Little Mermaid. \r
\r
Youll need a little bit of patience, but I show you doll making tips and techniques that set you up for success. This one is more art than craft; I really hope you like it. \r
