The Sofia the First Royal Prep Talking Desk looks like something that would be in the show, but we wish it was better designed and built. There are three main flaws to the desk, and while children may not mind they will definitely make parents cringe.\r

Notes-\r
\r
- One of the flaws is that the top of the desk has a faux wood appearance (despite being purple). The issue is that the top of the desk has a wood texture and is not smooth. This makes it very difficult to write or color without getting your pencil/crayon stuck in the grooves.\r
\r
- Another flaw is that desk is too small. Our four year daughter (who is tall for her age) is too tall to sit on the stool and fit into the desk.\r
\r
- The final flaw is that the desk is made completely of plastic and is quite flimsy - if it is not against a wall it may want to tip over.\r
\r
- Now the good news - the desk is very fun and features a built in chalk board.\r
\r
- A compartment flips up on the desk to reveal a storage space for supplies\r
\r
- A *locker* with a shelf is included\r
\r
- Assembly takes about 20 minutes and is not very difficult - but be warned, once it is put together it is nearly impossible to disassemble.\r
\r
Final verdict - The Sofia the First Royal Prep Desk may be fun for younger children, but kids over the age of three may be too old/big to use it. \r
