My dog Summit and I head out on the Appalachian Trail for 3 days. I interview thru hikers along the way and show you how easy it can be to get out there for a few days. We talk about how immersing ourselves in nature can be beneficial to the mind, body and soul. \rbr\rbrI start at the base of Mt Cube in New Hampshire and hike to the other side oft Smarts Mt. Ill set up a tarp tent I make from materials at the local hardware store. Ill use food picked up from a gas station on the way to the trail and well talk about leave no trace mentality, complete with a section on how to poop in the woods.
