We had a huge Disney Princess Palace Pets Unboxing tonight! Mostly because we were so excited after a big busy day of running around, we couldnt wait until tomorrow to open this! We saw this toy released about a week ago in the UK and shes already sold out everywhere because shes that amazing! So we were running around doing our regular errands and could NOT believe she was on the shelf in a store. Shes not even yet listed on amazon or any USA web site! Shes gorgeous and going to be such a hot toy this Holiday Season! \rbr\rbrBeauty, as all the Disney Princess Palace Pets App and toy fans know, is Sleeping Beauty, Princess Auroras sleepy kitty, but suddenly in Whisker Haven, the Disney Princess Palace Pets App 2, they are calling Beauty Dreamy. Were not sure why, (maybe its her nickname?) but oh my is she gorgeous! Her huge shining eyes light up and she even blinks when she talks to you. Weve only just started playing with her, and have counted over 24 phrases that she says. We still havent heard all the ones we played on the way home to count them in our official count, so theres even more! They say she has 3 modes, and we figure these are the ones that (sort of like a furby) you can turn on by petting her head, her back, and under her chin, but weve also discovered she also wakes up and talks as you pick her up. She is absolutely charming, but do be careful with her. There were only two on the shelf and one of the eyes on one were completely scratched (looked like it happened in shipping) and so was the tiara. Shes quite delicate (in f, Im thinking of covering our Dreamys eyes with a thin iphone protective extra cover I have) and it looks like she can scratch easily if youre not careful. Scratching her beautiful eyes will not change how she works, but it would certainly be a shame. She does chat quite a bit but we discovered that she talks more when she is out of demo mode and she even has a mute button for night time as well as an off switch. She makes an excellent nightlight even if I find her a bit bright, and it is very easy to turn her off or mute her. Her fur is super soft and she comes with a comb, slippers that are cats (awww), and a skirt (which they call a bed jacket?) which can also be put around her shoulders, but we thought looked cuter as a skirt (lol). Probably because many of the other Palace Pets toys have skirts. We adore her and hope they make more from this line.
