Lawmakers are criticizing Amazon and eBay for profiting from VAT fraud in the U.K. and Europe. The National Audit Office claimed Britain alone was losing around $1.3 billion a year due to VAT fraud. The report said most of the fraud incidents happened with items shipped from China.
