HO Big Trains On A Big Layout

HO Big Trains On A Big Layout

Running my big stuff alongside my friends on his large HO Scale CN Niagara Falls area layout. \rbr\rbrThe tight radius curves and steep grades of the BArailsystem somewhat limit what rolling stock I can run. Auto-racks and passenger cars dont track very well on my layout. Luckily, my friend invites me over often to operate on his layout that he is building. \rbr\rbrHe models Canadian National in the Niagara Falls area in the 1990s. Mainly the Stamford and Grimsby subdivisions. NCE DCC provides the layout power and control. The smallest radius curve on the mainlines is 36, all turnouts are #6 and the layout is 22x40. Two large trains can be run simultaneously and large 90 cars run beautifully as you can see the train behind the two CP AC4400CWs is 56 cars in length, 8 of which are auto-racks.\rbr\rbrThe layout is still under construction and lighting is limited. I shot the video at night so its kinda dark, please pardon me forgetting my backlighting.
