European Space Agency Launches Satellite to Monitor Environment and Atmosphere

br pThe European Space Agency (ESA) released footage of its Sentinel-5P satellite launch on November 2.ppThe launch, which took place on October 13, is part of the European Commission’s Copernicus programmea. The satellite will monitor the atmosphere and map “a multitude of gases that affect the air we breathe, our climate and human health,” the ESA said.ppThis time-lapse video shows the Sentinel-5P satellite from final preparations to liftoff on a rocket launcher at the Plesetsk Cosmodrome in northern Russia.
