Drone Footage Shows Extent of Flooding in Hoi An

pVietnam’s Thu Bon River overflowed its banks after Typhoon Damrey pummeled the country and spilled floodwaters throughout the the streets of Hoi An, a popular tourist city and UNESCO World Heritage Site.ppThis drone footage shows an aerial view of the damage. Several stretches of land have transformed into ponds as a result of the flooding.ppAccording to reports from local news source Thanh Nien Onlinea, water levels in Hoi An on November 6 were roughly 10.2 feet (3.12 meters).ppReuters reported that an estimated 60 people died due to Typhoon Damreya, which hit Vietnam on November 4.
