Sukhumvit Soi 11 Walk Around, Bangkok - Sept 2016

Sukhumvit Soi 11 Walk Around, Bangkok - Sept 2016\rbr\rbr Early evening around dusk I did a full walk up Sukhumvit Soi 11, Bangkok. I point out many bars, hotels, nightclubs and more.\rbr\rbr Soi 11 was always my favourite place to stay in Bangkok when I used to visit on holiday because it is 10 minutes walk (or a short taxi ride) to Nana Plaza and Soi Cowboy.\rbr\rbr Soi 11 is home to many nightclubs too including Climax, Levels, and WaxSugar (next to Australian Bar). It also has great transport links with Nana BTS Skytrain station close by. \rbr\rbr If you are thinking of booking a Soi 11 hotel then make sure to read this guide on the website with essential booking tips: \rbr\rbrParts of this video include:\rbr0:04 Skytrain, and start of Soi 11\rbr1:42 Grand Swiss Hotel\rbr2:11 Zanzibar Restaurant\rbr2:40 Villa Market - Best Supermarket with high quality produce\rbr3:09 Cheap Charlies Bar\rbr4:20 Charley Browns Mexican Cantina\rbr5:04 Suk 11 Hostel\rbr5:28 Suk 11 Restaurant\rbr6:37 Ambassador Hotel and Climax Nightclub\rbr8:27 Old German Beerhouse\rbr8:56 Zaks Wine Pub\rbr9:36 Australian Pub and BBQ\rbr10:23 President Palace Hotel soon to be Mercure\rbr10:41 Salil Boutique Hotel\rbr11:05 Hillary 3 and aVa bars\rbr12:47 Citadines Aparthotel\rbr13:25 Oskar Bistro\rbr13:57 aloft Hotel & Levels nightclub\rbr15:17 Le Fenix Hotel\rbr16:10 Chilli Culture Thai Kitchen Restaurant\rbr16:50 Former site of Vegas club\rbr17:18 Firehouse gourmet burger restaurant\rbr18:09 Apoteka live music bar and restaurant\rbr18:38 Former site of the legendary Q Bar (now closed)\rbr20:44 Fraser Suites 5-star serviced apartments\rbr21:43 Smart Suites Budget Hotel\rbr22:50 Map of locations in this video\rbr\rbrAdditional notes:\rbr\rbr The alley with the row of restaurants inc. Charley Brown have all been given their notice and have to leave in March 2017. Hopefully the better places can relocate nearby but this seems to unfortunately be a recurring theme, as many parts of central Bangkok are losing their charer and changing to generic high rise hotels and condominiums. \rbr\rbr Construction noise. I am aware some parts of this video contain construction noise and I consciously made no attempt to block it out to give an accurate representation of my walk. \rbr\rbrSoi 11 and pretty much anywhere in Bangkok potentially can have nearby construction noise so I would advise anyone to check the latest Tripadvisor Hotel reviews to see if noise is a persistent problem where you are staying. When checking in to your hotel if there is nearby construction simply request a quiet room away from the noise to minimise potential disturbance.\rbr\rbr\rbr If you are thinking of booking a Soi 11 hotel then make sure to read this guide on the website with essential booking tips: \rbr\rbr Thank you for watching and subscribe for more videos.
