Airstrikes hit the city of Douma on the fringes of Damascus on Wednesday, November 15, according to local media activists. The reported bombings follow the delivery of 22 trucks of humanitarian aid to the city on Sunday.

Activist said some of the strikes hit a warehouse storing some of the aid. However, Storyful cannot independently verify this claim.

Last week, the UN urged the evacuation of sick and malnourished residents in the eastern Ghouta area, of which Douma is part. Some 400,000 people are currently living the area with hundreds, man of them children, facing starvation. Credit: YouTube/Syrian Civil Defense via Storyful
