Global Semiconductor sales rose 9.4 percent year-on-year in August 2014 to 28.4billion US dollars from 26 billion US dollars a year earlier.br br Us-Based Semiconductor Industry Association (SIA), said year-to-date sales through August were 10.1 percent higher than they were at the same point in 2013.
