Si formano in Trentino alla fine del 2013 come trio e nel corso del tempo collaborano con numerosi musicisti, alcuni dei quali ora aggiunti in pianta stabile nella formazione. Nel 2014 pubblicano un primo EP "Evoluzione", registrato al MetroRec Studio di Riva del Garda (TN).br Nei due anni successivi portano la loro musica in numerose location del Trentino ed in diverse realtà e festival in tutto il nord Italia. Nell’agosto 2016 hanno avuto l’onore di essere il gruppo spalla dei Jethro Tull durante il “Sideout Arco Festival”.br L’autunno 2016 vede il gruppo impegnato in un viaggio negli USA, durante il quale suonano nei locali della California, Arizona e Colorado e compongono e registrano un brano (Mike), presso il Dust&Stone Recording Studio di Tucson, Arizona.br Alla fine del 2016 iniziano le registrazioni del nuovo album, nuovamente presso il MetroRec Studio.br All'inizio del 2017 la base della band si sposta a Torino, ed in febbraio 2017 viene lanciata una campagna crowdfunding per finanziare il nuovo album: il progetto si chiama "Un album, 7 forme diverse" e coinvolge 7 artisti (2 pittori, 2 fotografi, 2 poeti ed una designer) ognuno dei quali realizza un lavoro ispirato ad un brano degli Electric Circus.br La campagna raggiunge il successo ed in Aprile 2017 esce il nuovo album, intitolato "247", che contiene le 7 tracce del progetto più il singolo registrato negli USA, con tutti i risultati di questo esperimento sfogliabili nel booklet dell’album.br br br The Electric Circus are an instrumental band with jazz and psychedelic influences that is inspired by genres such as funk, ethnic music, blues. They are formed in Trentino at the end of 2013 as a trio and over time collaborate with numerous musicians, some of whom are now added steadily to training. In 2014 they released a first EP "Evolution", recorded at MetroRec Studio in Riva del Garda (TN).br In the following two years they bring their music in numerous locations in Trentino and in different realities and festivals throughout northern Italy.
