SUNSHINE COAST CHORAL SOCIETY performs the song "SILENT NIGHT" for BalconyTV.br Subscribe to us right now at br br 'Like' us on Facebook - Follow us on Twitter - br PRESENTED BY JADE SALANGSANGbr br MICROPHONES BY RODE br br The Sunshine Coast Choral Society is a mixed choir of approximately 50 voices, performing both classical and secular music to a wide audience, under the baton of Adrian King. br The Deputy Conductor and President is Jennifer Barry and our accompanist is Natasha Koch.br br A minimum of two classical concerts are presented each year, with a performance of Christmas music rounding off the season in December. br In addition, the choir performs at varying functions, local church services plus carol singing at different venues in the area.br br The Societies next concert is on the Sunday afternoon of the 13th December at 2.30pm in the Uniting Church Caloundra, when they will present a concert entitled “Celebrating French Christmas Choral Music” br The programme will include Camille Saint-Saëns Christmas Oratorio, selected French Carols and Piano music.br br The Sunshine Coast Choral Society always warmly welcomes new singers which are invited to attend three rehearsals before auditioning and becoming members.br In addition the “Choir” provides special encouragement to young singers to develop a deeper awareness, an appreciation and enjoyment of choral music.br br The Society rehearses at the Lakeshore Christian Church, Lakeshore Ave, North Buderim, on Wednesday nights 7.00pm – 9.
