2 Passenger Trains Collide in Bad Aibling in Southeast Germany

Two passenger trains have collided head-on in the town of Bad Aibling in southeast Germany, killing at least nine people and injuring more than 100 others, police say. The accident happened just before 6:45 a.m. local time on Tuesday when two passenger trains operated by Meridian collided head-on on a single-track line between Rosenheim and Holzkirchen, causing one of the trains to partially derail.
