pA swamp wallaby that grabbed international headlinesa after being filmed bounding down Sydney Harbour Bridge was released back into the wild by zoo keepers on January 25.ppOn January 16, the marsupial was picked up by police and taken into the care of veterinarians at Taronga Zoo. The aptly named Sydney was suffering from capture myopathy, a complication caused by the stress and exertion of his capture, according to a zoo spokesperson. Despite various theories from how he ended up in an urban centre, police and vets were not certain where he came from.ppDespite the ongoing mystery of his origins, Sydney made a quick recovery and was released at Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park, about 25 kilometres north from where he was found.
