The Strasburg Rail Roads Santa Express train excursions in December new were hauled by 2-6-0 Mogul #89, and 4-8-0 Mastodon #475. Number 89 is a veteran of the Canadian National Railway, constructed in 1910 by the Canadian Locomotive Company. Number 475 is an ex-Norfolk & Western locomotive, built in 1906 by the Baldwin Locomotive Works in Philadelphia. Both locomotives were wearing flags in remembrance of the attack on Pearl Harbor on December 7th, 1941.\rbr\rbrNote: 89s whistle is a CB&Q 5 chime. #475s whistle is a PRR 3 chime off Long Island Railroad 39. \rbr\rbr(Yes, we know about the wind noise.)\rbr\rbrSit back, relax, and enjoy the sights and sounds of steam locomotives on the world famous Strasburg Rail Road.
