RECIPE BELOW:\rbrI like beef jerky. And know there are all sorts of recipes to make it, but ground beef jerky is just so easy. It does call for a jerky gun but the gun is worth it. Plus we will use it again when I show you how to make the Jerky Dog Treats.\rbrA dehydrator is also an investment but once again I think that it is worth it. you can use it for fruits, veggies, herbs all sorts of things.\rbr\rbrGround Beef Jerky\rbr4 pounds ground beef\rbr1 tablespoon paprika\rbr1 tablespoon sea salt\rbr1 tablespoon onion powder\rbr1 tablespoon garlic powder\rbr1 teaspoon liquid smoke\rbr1 tablespoon teriyaki sauce\rbr½ teaspoon ground cayenne pepper\rbr\rbrMix all the ingredients together.\rbrChill 6 – 8 hours, or over night.\rbrJERKY GUN METHOD: Load the gun with beef mixture. Extrude beef unto dehydrator racks.\rbrPLASTIC WRAP METHOND: roll the beef mixture between to pieces of plastic wrap. Until it is ¼ inch thick. Cut into strips. Place on dehydrator racks.\rbrSet the dehydrator on the recommended setting for meat jerky and follow the manufurers instructions for time.\rbrWhen the jerky is done allow to cool completely and store in an airtight container.
