Revell P-40B Tiger Shark 1/48 Plastic Model for Beginners Part VI Tutorial

Painting the Revell 1:48 P-40B Tiger Shark with acrylic paint and an airbrush. Tack for camo pattern. Gloss Clear is used to apply decals.\rbr\rbrI applied a primer coat to the model and than used tack to mark the lines for the underside to paint with an acrylic light blue color. After the blue dried, i used the tack again to cover the blue paint and leave a clean line for the light brown base coat on the model. Once the light brown dries, the tack was mounted in a camouflage pattern according to the instructions with the model. The Olive Drab color was than applied. Once the colors where dried, I painted all the other parts with a paint brush. A gloss clear coat was applied and I let that dry. Once dry, I used decal set and applied all the decals over the gloss coat so the decals would not leave a silvering effect.\rbrThe decals dried for 24 hours. After they were dry and shrunk back, a flat clear coat was applied for the final paint effect. I used some school glue and applied the canopy since plastic cement can frost the plastic canopy. This completed the model.
