Michael Wolff, author of the controversial book “Fire and Fury,” has said he thinks President Trump and son-in-law Jared Kushner will likely turn on each other in the future.

Michael Wolff, the author of the controversial book 'Fire and Fury,' has said he thinks President Trump and son-in-law Jared Kushner will likely turn on each other in the future.
According to the Huffington Post, Wolff was asked during a recent interview in London if he could ever see Trump firing his daughter Ivanka.
"I think there is a pretty good possibility at this point that Jared will be indicted," the writer reportedly responded. "So the more direct question is will Trump throw his son-in-law under the bus, and then the corollary to that is will his son-in-law throw his father-in-law under the bus? And I think the answer to both of those questions is yes."
While it is not clear what Wolff thinks Kushner will be indicted for, there have been questions over the past few weeks about Kushner's lack of permanent security clearance--likely due to issues that arose during his background check.
In fact, there is a possibility that White House Chief of Staff John Kelly could revoke his temporary clearance, leading to reports of tension between the two top officials, notes The Hill.
Also dogging Kushner is the special counsel Robert Mueller's investigation.
According to The Guardian, former White House chief strategist Steve Bannon reportedly told Wolff about the federal probe, "This is all about money laundering. Mueller chose [senior prosecutor Andrew] Weissmann first and he is a money-laundering guy. Their path to...Trump goes right through Paul Manafort, Don Jr and Jared Kushner...It's as plain as a hair on your face."
