“This toy set has pets which are very small and almost fragile, and there are perhaps too many pieces, so it is a little overwhelming for kids. However, there are lots of obtainable accessories for the LPSto help develop creativity and imagination. I would say this set is in line with the idea of a doll house, but featuring pets instead of dolls. Be aware, though: some of the small parts can be a choking hazard. “The accessories from this set are incredibly tiny, and it is necessary to snap them out of their plastic holders. Also, the large pieces have been fixed into place on a plastic sleeve and it is necessary to remove the ties. The toy set package and the box are really attrive, but it takes a while to detach all the parts and to prepare the set for being used.\r

I would advise not to store the pieces in their original box, as it was not made for that intent and the pieces can be lost very easily. In regards to the play value, this is what I can say: my 5 and 7 year old daughters seemed to enjoy the creative playing which this set promotes.
