Delhi traders held a mega rally to protest against the sealing drive

Members of the associations of traders from across the city gathered at Ramlila Maidan in central Delhi held a protest. Traders from various markets like Lajpat Nagar, Sadar Bazar, Chawri Bazar, Karol Bagh, Amar Colony are angry about the ongoing sealing of commercial establishments. The sealing is happening on the directions of Supreme Court-appointed monitoring committee. Traders demanded the Centre to bring forth a Bill or an ordinance to stop the sealing drive. Markets that were not affected by the sealing drive also participated. The shopkeepers, their employees and their families joined the traders at the rally. Traders from other states also joined the protest.
