Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah is likely to contest from two constituencies—Chamundeshwari and Badami—after doubts were raised about whether he can win the first one. Badami is a Kuruba-Lingayat dominant constituency, where there is a close fight between the congress and the BJP. The sitting MLA from congress, BB Chimmanakatti, has said he is willing to vacate the seat for the CM.
