Do not attempt to make soap unless you have thoroughly researched the soapmaking process. Making soap requires the use of lye which is also called Sodium Hydroxide. Lye is a caustic substance that can cause severe burns if its inhaled or makes cont with skin. It is VERY important to do all of your soap making in a well-ventilated area and be sure to use rubber gloves, goggles and a surgical mask.
