Thousands of riot police were deployed on Friday (February 14) to clear rally sites in Bangkok that have been occupied by protesters for weeks. At 8:00am, riot police marched their way onto Makkhawan Rangsan Bridge in an attempt to clear makeshift protest camps. Police reclaimed the bridge peacefully as protesters put up little resistance.
