Cincinnati Zoo Welcomes New Fresh-Faced Ring-Tailed Lemur

br pThe Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden has welcomed a new ring-tailed lemur to its Night Hunters building.ppA clip shared to the zoo’s Facebook page on June 12 shows its newest resident, Willow, settling into her new home at the zoo.ppAccording to the zoo, the name “ringtail” comes from the seven or eight black rings on the animal’s tail. Lemurs livea in social troops of a dozen or so, led by a single, dominant female.ppThe clip of Willow had earned over 40,000 views at the time of writing.
