The Mexicali Resiste was protesting the release of Leon Fierro, one of their many strong leaders. They were holding him just becuase he was protesting in Mexicali, Mexico. This is the Madre of the Mexicali Resiste! She is a very strong wonderful woman who, like the rest of us, is very tired of the bad things around her! She was very nice to talk with us about boycotting Constellation brands, lack of water, cameras installed by big companies in their town, corruption, and many other bad things around her.
