Every child in Mongolia memorizes the poem "I am a Mongol" (Bi Mongol Hun) written by Ch. Chimed. Mongolians love composing songs and poems about the nature, homeland and the family. After all, Eternal Blue Tengri Sky is our Father and Earth is our Mother.

Mongolians, do you still remember all of it? This adorable kid only recites the first few verses (pardon the lack of poetic translation).

"I was born in a ger with the scent of dung smoke
I consider the steppe my swaddle
As I cast my eyes across the blue mist in the vast expanse
My soul is filled with pride and joy
The caress of the blowing wind is like unto a kiss
or a stroke of my mercifull mother
As the gracious feelings of joy stir my heart
Tears of happiness fill my eyes... "
