The new small XC40 is the most affordable SUV in the Volvo Cars India lineup. The XC40 SUV is available in a single variant, the R-Design trim, at an introductory price of Rs 39.90 lakh, ex-showroom (India). Volvo has already started accepting bookings for the XC40, for an amount of Rs 5 lakh. The new Volvo XC40 will be powered by a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder diesel engine. It produces 190bhp and 400Nm of torque. This power is transmitted to all four wheels through an eight-speed automatic gearbox.
