Tharoor in Dock Shashi Tharoor faces trial in Sunanda Pushkar's death case

Congress leader Shashi Tharoor has reached Patiala house court and will face trial in the death of his wife Sunanda Pushkar today. The Congress MP has been summoned by Patiala Delhi court. Tharoor has been charged with abetment of suicide and committing cruelty towards Pushkar under sections 306 and 498 (A) of IPC. Four years after Pushkar was found dead in suite number 345 of the Leela hotel, the Delhi police filed a charge sheet and named her husband as an accused in the case.
