The Italian design house Pininfarina unveiled the HK GT concept, drawn up on behalf of Chinese startup Hybrid Kinetic Group. The concept is a 792bhp 2+2 coupé with gullwing doors. Like the previous concepts, badged K550 and K750 for the two SUVs and H600 for the saloon, the HK GT has a microturbine generator acting as a range extender. The previous concepts’ ranges were quoted at around 1000km. The car’s top speed is claimed to be 250 kmh, and it reaches 100kmh from standstill in 2.9sec - the same as the Porsche 911 Turbo S and Lamborghini Aventador.
